Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment midway through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the maiden important trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
